Register to Vote!
Voter registration forms are available from the Contra Costa County Election Department, all City Clerk Offices, Post Offices, and the Department of Motor Vehicles.

You can register to vote any time, but if you want to vote in an election, you must be registered 15 days prior in order to vote in that election.
If you have moved, changed your name or changed your political party affiliation, you will need to re-register to vote. You should register as early as possible so that you receive election material in the mail. If you register less than 29 days before an election, you may not receive this information.
