Afterschool Childcare Registration 2023-24

2023-24 School Year REGISTRATION will open online

Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 9:00am.

Afterschool Childcare programs will begin during the second week of school on Monday, August 21, 2023-Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Registration is done completely online and is a multiple step process. 


Registration will be prioritized based on two criteria: 
1) 5-day enrollments
2) Submittal time of JotForm/Registration Form.  

 

                                   Please Read Everything Below Before Beginning Your Registration Process 

 

1. To register and pay the childcare registration fee on or after April 11, 2023, you'll need an account with the Recreation Department. If you do not have an account, you'll need to create one in our online registration system: www.el-cerrito.org/onlinereg. Once on the site, add your child(ren) as members including birth dates.  If you already have an account from past transactions, make sure you can log-in and your child(ren)'s information is correct, then move on to Step 2. 

 

2. On or after April 11, 2023 at 9:00am, pay the non-refundable registration fee of $82.00 and note your receipt number on your JotForm/Registration Form, then move on to Step 3. 

 

3. On or after April 11, 2023 at 9:00am, complete one JotForm/Registration Form per child.

Detailed steps for registration process:

   1. CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT IN OUR ONLINE REGISTRATION SYSTEM: WWW.EL-CERRITO.ORG/ONLINEREG. ADD YOUR CHILD(REN) WITH THEIR BIRTH DATES. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT FROM PAST TRANSACTIONS WITH US, THEN MOVE ON TO STEP 2.  
 

   2.  PAY THE ONLINE REGISTRATION FEE ($82) PER CHILD AT WWW.EL-CERRITO.ORG/ONLINEREG.

  • Registration is prioritized for families requiring care 5 days per week.

  • Once you complete the registration process, while you can still cancel your registration completely (please review the policies), you are agreeing that you will not drop any days of service for the first 2 billing periods.

  • To apply for discounted fees please see the link below. Applications must be submitted within 48 hours (about 2 days) of your registration.

  • Fall childcare will begin on Monday, August 21, 2023 and end on Tuesday June 4, 2024. Parents must find alternative arrangements for care during the first week of school on August 14, 2023 through August 18, 2023 and June 5, 2024 through June 7, 2024.

  • Transitional Kindergarten students must be 5 years old between September 2, 2023 and April 2, 2024 to register for the program.
