2015 Fire Dept. Emergency Response Overview

Posted to City Manager's Updates on February 24, 2016 at 8:56 AM by Suzanne Iarla

The El Cerrito Fire Department responds to a wide variety of calls for service. See the Fire Response Page for a chart of Request for Services over the past five years.

The Fire Department’s responses remain fairly consistent, with a five year average of 3,010 responses annually.

Fire loss over this five year period averages $350,679 per year, down from the spike the City experienced five years ago. Fire loss averages remain low compared to cities with similar demographics. The Department suspects that requests for service will remain flat over the next calendar year.
