The El Cerrito Recreation Department has teamed up with the El Cerrito Police Department & Be The Match to hold a Marrow Donor Registry Drive in honor of Jadyne, a local patient and El Cerrito elementary school student.
Ten year old Jadyne is intelligent, kind hearted, and has a wise soul. He is the kid who will brighten your day. Jadyne was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia, a blood disease, and will need a bone marrow transplant to finally be healthy. You may have the power to be that patient’s cure.
What can you do to help?
*Join the registry on Saturday, June 30, 2018 11am-3pm at the El Cerrito Community Center, 7007 Moeser Lane, El Cerrito, CA 94530
*Drop-ins are welcome! To join the registry you will complete a consent form & swab – approximately 8-10 minutes- & you could be matched to help save Jadyne or someone else’s life.
