Welcome from Fire Chief Lance Maples
I am honored to be selected as the new Fire Chief for the El Cerrito Fire Department which is comprised of 36 of the finest firefighters and administrative staff in the State. This employee group is the nucleus of our team concept which provides exceptional public services. The Fire Department’s goal is to provide the highest level of service possible while remaining fiscally responsible.
I am both excited and very optimistic about the opportunities that the department will face in the future and look forward to working with the members of the fire department and the citizens I serve.
When you see one of our firefighters in your neighborhood or have an opportunity to mix with our staff at one of our community educational programs, please take the time to introduce yourself. I am sure you will agree that you are being served by the very best.
