The Economic Development Board acts in an advisory capacity to perform tasks and duties identified by the Economic Development Strategy and Action Plan. Advises the Council on economic development matters, makes recommendations on the annual economic development work plan, and oversees the work of subcommittees established to concentrate on creating plans for high-priority areas. Provides input to other City boards and commissions on economic development matters and reviews progress towards achieving the annual work plan goals and long range economic development goals. Encourages community involvement in economic development.
