Easy Ride Paratransit Service (ERPS)
Monday - Thursday 9A-5P and Friday 9A-4P

The Senior Services Division is committed to providing seniors 65 and disabled residents 18 years and older with a quality transportation service.

Easy Ride is a transportation service to help El Cerrito senior citizens and disabled residents perform daily activities within the City of El Cerrito. Funded by the City of El Cerrito and Contra Costa County Measure J sales tax revenue. Easy Ride provides trips only within the City of El Cerrito. Passengers will share rides with others.

*Getting to appointments: hairdresser, nail salon, doctor, dentist, dialysis etc.
*Visiting friends and family
* Attending afternoon classes or recreational program

An ERPS application form is available for pick-up at the Open House Senior Center, 6500 Stockton Avenue in El Cerrito.  Application must be completed before scheduling a ride. Download the ERPS application.

Reminder: Passengers must be ready 10 minutes before scheduled pick-up time.

How do I get a ride? 
Arranging transportation with Easy Ride is fast and simple. El Cerrito residents may schedule a ride for same day appointment between 8A-9A providing space is available or up to two weeks in advance reservations between 8A-5P. Call Easy Ride Paratransit Service at (510) 559-7677.

How much does it cost?
The cost for van service is $2 per one-way ride. Tickets are sold only in books of ten, $20 per book, at the Open House Senior Center, 6500 Stockton Avenue. We accept checks or Visa and Master Card credit cards.
