Join El Cerrito Green Teams, Friends of Five Creeks, Albany Parks, and Friends of Albany Hill by sprucing up and helping restore the beautiful urban oasis of Cerrito Creek and Albany Hill. Energy Upgrade Workshop

Join the Cities of El Cerrito, Albany, and Berkeley, in coordination with StopWaste, for this Energy Upgrade Workshop. The workshop will offer information to residents on current rebates and opportunities to make their homes more energy efficient.

The EQC is a Council-appointed body of residents and business representatives who work to involve the community directly in understanding and reducing our impact on the environment. Regular meetings of the EQC often host informative presentations on environmental issues and policies. Vegetable Gardening in El Cerrito

4th Saturdays, 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
 
The El Cerrito Community Garden Network and El Cerrito Library are teaming up to provide a series of monthly introductory vegetable gardening workshops running April through November, no workshop in August.  The workshop format will be a 30-minute presentation at the Library and then a hands-on project (30-60 minutes) at the nearby Community Demonstration Garden in Fairmont Park.
