2017 City of El Cerrito & worldOne 4th of July Festival
Thousands of people are expected to celebrate Independence Day at the City of El Cerrito/worldOne 4th of July Festival on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm with music on the Main Stage until 6:30 pm.  The Festival is held in beautiful Cerrito Vista Park.

The admission-free family-friendly event is full of fun, food and entertainment.

  • 11:10am Mohawk Round Dance with the Roger Sosakete Perkins
  • 11:35am Suhaila Salimpour - International Belly dancing
  • 12:30 pm Atash - Eclectic world music
  • 1:50pm Melody Parker - Intricate chamber pop music
  • 3:10pm John Santos - Jazz/Latin Roots
  • 4:30pm Taj Weekes + Adowa - St. Lucian Roots
  • 5:45pm Dogon Lights - Afro Hip Hop
  • Plus DJ Interludes by Jos é Ruiz (aka MundoMuzik), Gregg McVicar (Undercurrents) & MC/DJ worldOnelove

  • 10:30 am+12:30+2:30 pm Hoopin’ Heather ~ next to the circus tent
  • 11 am + 1 pm + 3 pm Circus Imagination ~ followed by Magical Nathaniel under Little Big Top
  • Throughout the day Brasarte -  Brazilian Carnaval

  • Little Big Top Circus Imagination and Magical Nathaniel (4pm)
  • Music by Kupaoa and dance performances by Kumu Kau'i Isa-Kahaku and Halau Na Wai Ola (5pm-7pm)


Volunteers are needed to help create a memorable, fun and safe community event. Individuals and groups are encouraged to contact either the Recreation Department or worldOne Radio about volunteer opportunities.
