The El Cerrito City Council voted unanimously at its meeting of November 5, 2007 to submit to the voters of El Cerrito, a Sales Tax Ballot Measure for City Pothole Repair and Local Street Improvements and Maintenance, on the February 5, 2008 ballot.

Notice is hereby given that a Special Municipal Election, to be consolidated with the Statewide Presidential Primary, will be held in the City of El Cerrito, County of Contra Costa, on Tuesday, February 5, 2008.

Arguments for and against the measure are available for review during business hours at the City Clerk's Office, 10940 San Pablo Avenue, El Cerrito.

The California Presidential Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2008. The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
