The City Council invites all citizens interested in serving as El Cerrito’s appointee to the Contra Costa Library Commission to submit an application for consideration. Serving on a board or commission can be a rewarding experience for community service-minded residents. It is an excellent way to participate in the functioning of local government and to make a personal contribution to the improvement of our community.
The Contra Costa Library Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors and the County Librarian and acts as a forum for the community to express its views regarding the goals and operations of the County Library.
