City of El Cerrito's Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan
The City of El Cerrito has pursued the development of an ADA Transition Plan to ensure
accessibility for individuals with disabilities in the community. The City examined City
buildings, parks, and major pedestrian routes in the public right of way and identified
physical barriers to accessibility. The Plan assesses
these barriers, estimates the costs for their mitigation, sets priorities for their elimination,
and provides a schedule for their removal.
An electronic copy of the ADA Transition Plan can be downloaded (see links below). A paper copy is available for review during business hours at City Hall, 10890
San Pablo Avenue.
