On Friday February 29, 2008 at about 8:48 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to the 2600 block of Brooks Ave on a report of a suspicious person. After an investigation Derrick Lewis Oliver, a 20 year old male resident of Vallejo, and Thomas Glen Williams Jr, a 26 year old male resident of Vallejo, were arrested for residential burglary. Oliver and Thomas were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Wednesday February 27, 2008 at about 11:45 am El Cerrito Police Officers responded to the 6100 block of Barrett Ave on a report of a residential burglary, with a possible suspect still in the area. After an investigation a 13 year old male resident of Richmond was arrested for burglary. The male was transported to Juvenile Hall pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Tuesday February 26, 2008 at about 6:40 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a hit and run collision, with injuries, in the area of Potrero Ave and South 55th Street. After an investigation Nyesha Brown, a 19 year old female resident of Richmond, was arrested for felony hit and run. Brown was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Monday February 25, 2008 at about 7:45 pm Officer Payne arrested Rodney Percoats, a 49 year old male resident of Richmond, after Percoats was found in possession of a forged drivers license during a traffic stop. Percoats was also identified as the person responsible for attempting to fraudulently obtain funds at Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, at 10578 San Pablo Ave, on Wednesday January 23, 2008. Percoats was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Sunday February 24, 2008 at about 10:40 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 6000 block of Potrero Ave. After an investigation Gloria Taylor, a 25 year old female resident of Richmond, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Taylor was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Sunday February 24, 2008 at about 7:32 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to Lucky's, at 1000 El Cerrito Plaza, on a report of shoplifting. After an investigation Lisa Fernandes, a 41 year old female resident of San Pablo, was arrested for theft. Fernandes was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Sunday February 24, 2008 at about 3:12 am Officer Matsui arrested Juan Francisco Aleman, a 23 year old male resident of Richmond, after Aleman was found in possession of a stolen vehicle during a traffic stop. Aleman was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Saturday February 23, 2008 at about 10:05 pm Sergeant Cliatt arrested a 13 year old male resident of Richmond after the male was found in possession of a stolen vehicle during a traffic stop. The male was released to a guardian pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Saturday February 23, 2008 at about 9:56 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 10900 block of San Pablo Ave. After an investigation Eduardo Medina, a 46 year old male resident of El Cerrito, was arrested for assault. Medina was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Thursday February 21, 2008 at about 12:19 am Officer Hoffman arrested Dwight Akins III, a 21 year old male resident of El Cerrito, after Akins was found in possession of a loaded and concealed handgun during a pedestrian stop. Akins was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Thursday February 21, 2008 at about 10:30 am Detective Tang arrested Calvin Louis King II, a 35 year old male resident of El Sobrante, after King was identified as the person responsible for attempting to pass a forged check at Wells Fargo Bank on November 15, 2007. King was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Wednesday February 20, 2008 at about 12:04 pm Officer Cooper arrested two 15 year old male residents of Richmond after they were found in possession of a loaded handgun during a traffic stop. One male was released to a guardian and the other male was transported to Juvenile Hall pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Tuesday February 19, 2008 at about 5:00 pm Detective Wentworth arrested a 17 year old male resident of Oakland in connection with a residential burglary that occurred on February 4, 2008. The male was transported to Juvenile Hall pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Tuesday February 19, 2008 at about 2:20 am Officer Mills and Officer Guzman arrested Hubert James Daniel, a 26 year old male resident of Fresno, after Daniel was found in possession of a loaded and concealed handgun during a traffic stop. Daniel was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

White, a 47 year old male resident of Emeryville, was arrested for forgery. White was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Friday February 15, 2008 at about 2:50 pm Officer Brosas arrested Mark Rookard, a 42 year old male resident of Oakland, after Rookard was found driving a stolen vehicle and attempted to escape in the vehicle and on foot. On Wednesday February 13, 2008 at about 11:42 pm Officer Mills arrested Anna Louise Martin, a 58 year old female resident of Richmond, after Martin was found in possession of a controlled substance, forged drivers licenses and forged travelers checks during a traffic stop. Martin was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

After an investigation Kelly Lynch, a 51 year old female resident of San Pablo, was arrested for theft. On Sunday February 10, 2008 at about 3:16 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of shoplifting at Trader Joe's, at 225 El Cerrito Plaza. After an investigation Vonda Mckoy, a 41 year old female resident of Richmond, Shannon Singleton, a 44 year old female resident of San Leandro, and Esther Nash, a 49 year old female resident of Richmond, were arrested for theft. Mckoy, Singleton and Nash were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Friday February 8, 2008 at about 7:52 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a forgery in progress at Trader Joe's, at 225 El Cerrito Plaza. After an investigation Ronald Ortega, a 46 year old male resident of Rodeo, was arrested for forgery. Ortega was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Wednesday February 6, 2008 at about 8:40 am El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a hit and run collision in the area of Carlson Blvd and Huntington Ave and assisted the Richmond Police Department by apprehending three suspects fleeing from a stolen vehicle. The suspects were turned over to Richmond PD pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office (RPD case #08-11053).

Lee was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Saturday February 2, 2008 at about 11:20 am El Cerrito Police Officers responded to Orchard Supply Hardware, at 1751 Eastshore Blvd, on a report of theft. After an investigation Troy Eugene Chambers, a 46 year old male resident of Pittsburg, Anthony Joseph Sandoval, a 40 year old male resident of Pittsburg, and August Robert Hook, a 45 year old male resident of Pittsburg, were arrested for theft. Hook and Chambers were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility and Sandoval was released, pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.
