On Tuesday September 30, 2008 at about 6:45 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 2500 block of Yuba Street. After an investigation Officers located and arrested a 15 year old male resident of Richmond and a 14 year old male resident of Richmond, after the pair was found to have been burglarizing a vehicle. The juveniles were released to their parents pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Tuesday September 30, 2008 at about 8:30 am El Cerrito Police Officers and Detectives arrested two 16 year old male residents of Richmond and one 13 year old female resident of Richmond after the group was identified as the persons responsible for a series of strong arm robberies and attempted robberies on the BART path between Wednesday September 24, 2008 and Friday September 26, 2008. The juveniles were transported to Juvenile Hall pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Monday September 29, 2008 at about 7:48 pm Officer Matsui arrested Miguel Benito Carmona Castro, a 30 year old male resident of Richmond, after Carmona Castro was found in possession of methamphetamine during a pedestrian stop. Carmona Castro was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Friday September 26, 2008 at about 2:53 pm Officer Del Prado arrested Glenn Joseph Amaral, a 52 year old male resident of Chester, after Amaral was found in possession of methamphetamine during a traffic stop. Amaral was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Thursday September 25, 2008 at about 9:49 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a disturbance in the 700 block of Albemarle Street. After an investigation Theodore Edward Freeman, a 34 year old male resident of Vallejo, was arrested for assault. Freeman was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Thursday September 25, 2008 at about 11:56 am Officer Jacala arrested a 17 year old male resident of Richmond and a 17 year old male resident of San Pablo after the pair was identified as the persons responsible for a strong arm robbery committed on Wednesday September 24, 2008. The juveniles were released to their parents pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Wednesday September 24, 2008 at about 4:39 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to the Guitar Center, at 10300 San Pablo Ave, on a report of a disturbance. After an investigation Sibboleth Elisha Adell Jr, a 46 year old male resident of Oakland, was arrested after he was found in possession of stolen property. Adell was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Monday September 22, 2008 at about 6:02 am Officer Cooper arrested Tyeise Collins, a 28 year old female resident of Richmond, Andrea Dunlap, a 35 year old female resident of Novato, Laura Rodriguez, a 19 year old female resident of Novato, Sandra Tapsik, a 23 year old female resident of Fremont, and Jordan Scott, a 24 year old male resident of El Sobrante, after the group was found in possession of a stolen vehicle, and Dunlap provided false identifying information, during a suspicious vehicle investigation. Collins, the driver, and Dunlap were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility, and Rodriguez, Tapsik and Scott were released, pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

After an investigation Jeffrey Christopher Johnson Jr, a 29 year old male resident of Berkeley, was arrested for assault. Johnson was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Wednesday September 17, 2008 at about 10:01 am El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a strong arm robbery that just occurred in the 300 block of Coronado Ave. The suspect, Jahton Green, a 22 year old male resident of Albany, was quickly located and arrested for the crime. Green was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Tuesday September 16, 2008 at about 10:00 pm Officers Matsui and Payne arrested Ursula Lynn Johnson, a 42 year old female resident of Richmond, after Johnson was found in possession of property stolen during a commercial burglary of The Avenue clothing store, at 170 El Cerrito Plaza, on Monday September 15, 2008. Johnson was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

After an investigation Andrew Blake McGinness, a 26 year old male resident of Santa Rosa, was arrested for theft. McGinness was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Tuesday September 16, 2008 at about 11:30 am Kanica Ain Richard, a 22 year old female resident of Richmond, was arrested on an outstanding Ramey warrant obtained by Detective Tang after he identified Richard as the person who cashed two stolen, forged checks at California Check Cashing, at 10394 San Pablo Ave, on Sunday March 9, 2008. Richard was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

After an investigation Clayton Travis Hensley, a 44 year old male resident of Richmond, was arrested after he was found to be in possession of stolen property taken earlier in the day during a residential burglary in another jurisdiction. Hensley was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Wednesday September 3, 2008 at about 2:15 pm Rufus Raff McClanahan, a 46 year old male resident of San Pablo, was arrested on an outstanding Ramey warrant obtained by Detective Tang after he identified McClanahan as the person who used a confidence scheme in an attempt to obtain money from a citizen in El Cerrito on Tuesday May 20, 2008. McClanahan was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.
