On October 31, 2008 at about 7:00 am El Cerrito Police Detectives arrested Haki Che McClain, a 26 year old male resident of Oakland, after McClain was determined to be the person who robbed the T-Mobile store, at 3030 El Cerrito Plaza, at gunpoint on October 23, 2008 at about 1:29 pm. McClain was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On October 29, 2008 at about 3:22 pm Officer Elder arrested Christopher Cole Tabor, a 25 year old male resident of El Cerrito, after determining Tabor had illegally entered the home of an acquaintance on several occasions earlier in the month and had stolen property. Tabor was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On October 28, 2008 at about 12:39 pm Officer Elder arrested Tangcredo Asuncion Valdez, a 58 year old male resident of Vallejo, after determining Valdez had illegally entered an ex-girlfriend's residence during the first week of September 2008 and had stolen property. Valdez was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Monday October 27, 2008 at about 2:34 am El Cerrito Police Officers responded to an alarm at the Sky Lounge, at 10458 San Pablo Ave. During a check of the business Officers encountered Derek Evan Lugo, a 30 year old male resident of Richmond. Lugo was intoxicated and refused to leave the area, then assaulted several officers and was placed under arrest. Lugo was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Friday October 24, 2008 at about 7:14 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of shoplifting at Walgreen's, at 11565 San Pablo Ave. After an investigation Michael Anthony McCarver, a 48 year old male resident of Richmond, was arrested for theft. McCarver was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Friday October 24, 2008 at about 2:53 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of theft at Big 5, at 11060 San Pablo Ave. After an investigation Peter Aung Jr, a 29 year old male resident of Hercules, was arrested for theft. Aung was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Friday October 24, 2008 at about 7:28 am El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 1600 block of Kearney Street. After an investigation Michael Gregory Moore, a 27 year old male resident of El Cerrito, was arrested for assault. Moore was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Tuesday October 21, 2008 at about 2:38 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to Lucky's, at 1000 El Cerrito Plaza, on a report of shoplifting. After an investigation James Jaranilla, a 25 year old male resident of Daly City, was arrested for theft. Jaranilla was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Sunday October 19, 2008 at about 8:39 pm Officer Wahrlich arrested Sou Jouy Saechao, a 22 year old male resident of Richmond, after Saechao was found driving a stolen vehicle and in possession of burglary tools. Saechao fled from officers in the stolen vehicle and collided into parked vehicles, then fled from officers on foot before being apprehended. Saechao was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Saturday October 18, 2008 at about 9:36 pm Officer Guzman arrested Stacy Nicole Heard, a 23 year old female resident of Sacramento, and Prescila Reina Bowers, a 23 year old female resident of Sacramento, after Heard and Bowers were found in possession of controlled substances during a traffic stop. Heard and Bowers were released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Saturday October 18, 2008 at about 7:58 pm Officer Wahrlich arrested Derek Tillman, a 40 year old male resident of Richmond, after Tillman was found driving under the influence and in possession of cocaine during a traffic stop. Tillman was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Saturday October 18, 2008 at about 7:55 am Officer Cooper arrested Karlo Xavier Chamorro, a 33 year old male resident of Richmond, after Chamorro was found in possession of over an ounce of marijuana and an illegal weapon during a traffic stop. Chamorro was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Thursday October 16, 2008 at about 1:59 am Officer Matsui arrested Samuel Barreras Luna, a 41 year old male resident of Richmond, after Luna was found in possession of a stolen vehicle and controlled substances during a traffic stop. Luna was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

After an investigation Arthur Ricky Richards, a 28 year old male resident of Oakland, was arrested after he was found feloniously in possession of an illegal firearm. Richards was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Friday October 10, 2008 at about 6:18 pm Officer Jacala arrested a 17 year old male resident of Richmond after the juvenile was found in possession of morphine at the ECHS Homecoming Game. The juvenile was released to his parents pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Wednesday October 8, 2008 at about 11:30 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a disturbance near Fairmount Ave and San Pablo Ave and arrested two intoxicated and wanted subjects, Bryan Grant Wilson, a 47 year old male resident of Kensington, and Cynthia Lee Stoneking, a 26 year old female resident of Kensington. During booking Wilson and Stoneking became abusive and Stoneking assaulted one of the officers. Wilson and Stoneking were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

Rojas was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Sunday October 5, 2008 at about 5:00 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at Jack in the Box, at 5920 Cutting Blvd. After an investigation Hashim Williams, a 28 year old male resident of Richmond, was arrested for making illegal threats. Williams was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Sunday October 5, 2008 at about 7:09 am El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a fight in the 900 block of Liberty Street. During the investigation it was determined that an outstanding suspect had assaulted another person with a stick. On Monday October 6, 2008 Officer Cooper arrested William David Nidever, a 40 year old male resident of Richmond, after Nidever was identified as the assailant. Nidever was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.
