On Thursday April 30, 2009 Detective Tang arrested Stephen Hilton, a 51 year old male resident of Oakland, Perry Lucky Denson, a 48 year old male resident of Oakland, and Jasmine Keyana Webb, a 19 year old female resident of Oakland, after he determined they were part of a group who conspired to fraudulently use victims' access card information to purchase merchandise at Safeway, at 10636 San Pablo Ave, on numerous occasions. Hilton, Denson and Webb were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Thursday April 30, 2009 at about 1:56 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to Ross, at 2000 El Cerrito Plaza, on a report of shoplifting. After an investigation Vertis Lee Bean, a 44 year old male resident of San Francisco, was arrested for theft. Bean was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Wednesday April 29, 2009 at about 8:55 pm Corporal Hartung arrested Reginald Wright Sherman, a 50 year old male resident of Richmond, after Sherman fled during a pedestrian stop and was found in possession of stolen property. Sherman was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Wednesday April 29, 2009 at about 3:45 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to JayVee Liquors, at 10560 San Pablo Ave, on a report of a theft that just occurred. After an investigation Austin Jordan Edwards, an 18 year old male resident of Richmond, was arrested for theft. Leslie Haydee Canjura, an 18 year old female resident of Richmond, was also arrested after she struck an Officer during the investigation. Edwards was released and Canjura was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Tuesday April 28, 2009 at about 7:08 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to Barnes and Noble, at 6050 El Cerrito Plaza, on a report of shoplifting. After an investigation Rose Mary Williams, a 59 year old female resident of San Leandro, was arrested for theft. Williams was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Tuesday April 28, 2009 at about 12:44 am Officer Cheng arrested Vernon Lamont Dowell Jr, a 31 year old male resident of Richmond, after Dowell fled of foot from a traffic stop, was apprehended and found in possession of crack cocaine for sales. Dowell was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Wednesday April 22, 2009 at about 10:58 am El Cerrito Police Officers responded to Bank of the West, at 11100 San Pablo Ave, on a report of a forgery in progress. After an investigation Alexis Dominique Lee, a 24 year old female resident of Richmond, and Shykria Deun Wolfe, a 21 year old female resident of Richmond, were arrested for forgery. Lee was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility and Wolfe was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

Green and Hale were released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Saturday April 11, 2009 at about 7:40 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of shoplifting at Marshall's, at 10794 San Pablo Ave. After an investigation Robbin Latrece Cunningham, a 38 year old female resident of El Cerrito, was arrested for theft. Cunningham was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

Report Number 09-05441 LOCATED MISSING PERSON

Qianhe ('Maggie') Zhang, a 24 year old female citizen of China, was residing in El Cerrito while attending graduate school at UC Berkeley. Maggie was reported missing by her roommates to UC Berkeley PD on March 10, 2009. Maggie had not had contact with her roommates or family in China since February 2009.

Evidence was obtained that showed Maggie spent time in the Westwood area of Los Angeles, and most recently had traveled to Las Vegas Nevada.

On Wednesday April 15, 2009, Maggie was located by Officers of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in Las Vegas Nevada. Maggie underwent a mental health evaluation and did not appear to be suicidal. Maggie advised she was taking a break from school, and was determined to be voluntarily missing from her family, friends and school.

On Wednesday April 8, 2009 at about 8:10 am Detective Tang arrested Anthony Raylamar Edwards, a 23 year old male resident of Alameda, after Edwards was determined to be the person who used a fraudulent check to purchase merchandise at Trader Joe's on March 17 2009. Edwards was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Friday April 10, 2009 at about 11:46 am Corporal Albrandt arrested two 13 year old male residents of Richmond after the pair was observed setting fire to a trash can on the BART path. The juveniles were released to their parents pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Friday April 10, 2009 at about 9:26 am Officer Cooper arrested a 16 year old male resident of Richmond after the juvenile was found in possession of a concealed handgun during a pedestrian stop. On Tuesday April 7, 2009 at about 11:32 am Corporal Wong arrested Casey Maria Segovia, a 35 year old female resident of Berkeley, and Stephanie Analyse Kalowski, a 27 year old female resident of Pleasanton, after Segovia was found driving a stolen vehicle and Kalowski, a passenger in the vehicle, was found in possession of methamphetamine, during a traffic stop. Kalowski was released and Segovia was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.

On Tuesday March 31, 2009 Vern Town Saelee was arrested by the Berkeley Police Department. Saelee was transported to Santa Rita Jail pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office.
