On Sunday August 30, 2009 at about 9:12 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a theft that just occurred at Baskin Robbins, at 10598 San Pablo Ave. After an investigation Charlie Mae Rollins, a 54 year old female resident of Richmond, was arrested for theft. Rollins was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Saturday August 29, 2009 at about 12:42 am El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a hit and run collision near San Pablo Ave and Cutting Blvd. After an investigation Rasheed Ali Adkins, a 31 year old male resident of San Pablo, was arrested for feloniously driving under the influence of alcohol and fleeing from the scene of an injury collision. Adkins was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Friday August 28, 2009 at about 8:58 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 2700 block of Arlington Blvd. After an investigation William Aaron Meredith, a 52 year old male resident of El Cerrito, was arrested for assault. Meredith was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Wednesday August 26, 2009 at about 7:01 pm Officer Wahrlich arrested Tyrone Chapppelle Hadley, a 27 year old male resident of Richmond, after Hadley was found in possession of a loaded and concealed handgun during a pedestrian stop. Hadley was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Wednesday August 26, 2009 at about 1:13 pm Officer Purdy arrested Derrick Lamont Franklin Jr, a 20 year old male resident of Richmond, after Franklin was found in possession of an altered simulated handgun during a pedestrian stop. Franklin was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Wednesday August 26, 2009 at about 11:56 am El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of an attempted theft at Eskaton Hazel Shirley Manor, at 11025 San Pablo Ave. After an investigation Rafael Agsalon Ferrer, a 50 year old male resident of Merced, was arrested for crime. Ferrer was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Tuesday August 25, 2009 at about 12:10 am Officer Payne arrested Alexander Alfaferra Johnson, a 20 year old resident of Richmond, after Johnson was identified as the person who burglarized Peet’s Coffee, at 9895 San Pablo Ave, on Saturday July 11, 2009 and on Thursday July 16, 2009. Johnson was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Tuesday August 25, 2009 at about 1:45 pm El Cerrito Police Detectives arrested Kimberly Ann Horton, a 41 year old female resident of Richmond, and Terry Tyrone Horton, a 44 year old male resident of Richmond, after the couple was identified as the persons who committed a residential robbery on Sunday August 9, 2009 in the 5800 block of Avila Street. Kimberly Horton and Terry Horton were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Monday August 24, 2009 at about 3:54 am El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a commercial burglary that just occurred at Check Into Cash, at 11299 San Pablo Ave. Responding Officers quickly located and arrested Sharell Lanay Wilkerson, a 20 year old female resident of Richmond, for the crime. Wilkerson was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Monday August 24, 2009 at about 8:50 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a hit and run collision in the area of South 55th Street and Potrero Ave. After an investigation Henry Jose Abuslin, a 37 year old male resident of Richmond, was arrested for the hit and run collision, and for feloniously driving under the influence of alcohol. Abuslin was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Sunday August 23, 2009 at about 12:05 pm Sergeant Horgan arrested Douglas Keith Poechhacker, a 47 year old male resident of Milpitas, and Diane Dannette Lain, a 44 year old female resident of Hayward, after they were found in possession of methamphetamine during a traffic stop. Poechhacker and Lain were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

Hollie was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Saturday August 22, 2009 at about 6:38 am Officer Hernandez arrested Tonya Nicole Harrison, a 29 year old female resident of Albany, and Alton Wade Pinn, a 51 year old male resident of Berkeley, during a traffic stop, after finding the pair in possession of property stolen from an El Cerrito homeowner. Harrison and Pinn were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Saturday August 22, 2009 at about 9:30 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a robbery that just occurred in the area of Central Ave and Liberty Street. Responding Officers quickly located and arrested a 15 year old male resident of El Cerrito and a 15 year old male resident of Richmond for the crime. Willis Charles Franklin, an 18 year old male resident of Richmond, was arrested as an accessory. Franklin was released and the juveniles were transported to Juvenile Hall pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

After an investigation John Arthur Golden, a 22 year old male resident of Sacramento, was arrested for theft. Golden was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Tuesday August 18, 209 at about 12:54 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a residential burglary that just occurred in the 2200 block of Arlington Blvd. Responding Officers quickly located and arrested Charles Lee Wright, a 20 year old male resident of Richmond, and Joseph Lewis Mauricio, a 21 year old male resident of Richmond, for the crime. Wright and Mauricio were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Friday August 14, 2009 at about 2:44 pm Officer Tam arrested Tracy Armenda Johnson, a 34 year old female resident of Pittsburg, after Johnson was found in possession of a forged license and credit card, and in possession of identity theft information. Johnson was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Thursday August 13, 2009 at about 2:33 am a subject broke a window to Church’s Chicken, at 11575 San Pablo Ave, entered the business and stole property. On Thursday August 13, 2009 at about 5:30 pm El Cerrito Detectives arrested Deandrew Grandersin, a 19 year old male resident of San Pablo, for the crime. Grandersin was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Tuesday July 28, 2009 at about 4:07 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a forgery in progress at Wells Fargo, at 9800 San Pablo Ave. During the initial investigation two suspects were arrested; a third escaped. On Thursday August 13, 2009 at about 8:00 am El Cerrito Detectives arrested the third suspect, Krystal Brooks Sparks, a 20 year old female resident of El Sobrante. Sparks was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Wednesday August 5, 2009 at about 3:15 am Officer Brosas arrested Gary Dean Faulkner, a 33 year old male resident of El Sobrante, Pamela Lynn Titlow, a 40 year old female resident of Richmond, and Mark Wesley Vick, a 43 year old male resident of San Pablo, after Faulkner and Titlow were found in possession of stolen property and Vick was found in possession of an illegal weapon during a suspicious vehicle investigation. Faulkner, Titlow and Vick were released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.
