On Tuesday September 29, 2009 at about 2:59 am Officer Cheng arrested Michael Joseph Mayfield, a 39 year old male resident of Richmond, after Mayfield was found in possession of methamphetamine during a pedestrian stop. Mayfield was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Sunday September 27, 2009 at about 7:55 pm Corporal Pierson arrested Lonnie Stewart Heard, a 33 year old male resident of San Francisco, after Heard was found in possession of marijuana for sales during a traffic stop. Heard was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Friday September 25, 2009 at about 8:05 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of shoplifting at Safeway, at 10636 San Pablo Ave. After an investigation Mark Anthony Thomas, a 49 year old male resident of Richmond, was arrested for theft. Thomas was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Friday September 25, 2009 at about 6:08 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of an armed man causing a disturbance at Walgreen’s, at 11565 San Pablo Ave. After an investigation Daryn Esquire Cash, a 22 year old male resident of Richmond, was arrested for brandishing a simulated firearm. Cash was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Friday September 25, 2009 at about 12:43 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a theft in progress at Kragens, at 10680 San Pablo Ave. After an investigation Star Mouton, a 26 year old female resident of Richmond, was arrested for theft. Mouton was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Friday September 25, 2009 at about 2:12 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 700 block of Albemarle Street. After an investigation Matthew Travis Finch, a 24 year old male resident of El Cerrito, was arrested for assault. Finch was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Friday September 25, 2009 at about 1:50 am Officer Guzman arrested Kevin Omar Gutierrez, an 18 year old male resident of Albany, after Gutierrez was found in possession of stolen property and ecstasy during a traffic stop. Gutierrez was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Thursday September 24, 2009 at about 6:42 pm Officer Alvarez arrested Christopher William Forester, a 24 year old male resident of El Sobrante, and Nicolle Marie Collett, a 19 year old female resident of Richmond, after they were found in possession of counterfeit checks during a traffic stop. Forester and Collett were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Wednesday September 23, 2009 at about 6:27 pm Officer Guzman arrested Anthony Terrell Sims, a 34 year old male resident of Oakland, after Sims was found selling counterfeit DVDs and CDs. Sims was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Monday September 21, 2009 at about 3:23 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a theft that just occurred at Safeway, at 10636 San Pablo Ave. Responding Officers quickly located and arrested Damian Christopher Adams, a 31 year old male resident of El Cerrito, for the crime. Adams was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Thursday September 17, 2009 at about 3:51 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a male harassing females on the BART path near Liberty Street. On Monday September 22, 2009 Officer Savko arrested Jorge Vargas Vidal, a 26 year old male resident of San Mateo, for the crime. Vidal was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Monday September 21, 2009 at about 5:21 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a vehicle theft that just occurred in the 5300 block of Cypress Ave. On Tuesday September 22, 2009 at about 9:00 pm Deputy Graham of the Solano County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 16 year old male resident of Vacaville, a 16 year old male resident of Richmond, a 17 year old male resident of Pinole and Karea Larice Morris, an 18 year old female resident of San Pablo, after the group was found driving the stolen vehicle in Fairfield. The juvenile suspects were transported to Juvenile Hall and Morris was held at the Solano County Jail pending the filing of charges by the respective County District Attorney’s Offices. On Monday September 21, 2009 at about 3:23 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a theft that just occurred at Safeway, at 10636 San Pablo Ave. Responding Officers quickly located and arrested Damian Christopher Adams, a 31 year old male resident of El Cerrito, for the crime. After an investigation Darin Anthony DeSilva, a 30 year old male resident of El Cerrito, was arrested for assault. DeSilva was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Friday September 18, 2009 at about 9:53 am Officer Payne arrested Jacky Louise Meletiou, a 26 year old female resident of Vallejo, after Meletiou was found in possession of methamphetamine during a traffic stop. Meletiou was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Tuesday September 15, 2009 at about 12:15 pm two cell phones were stolen from lockers at the Community Center, at 7007 Moeser Lane. On Friday September 18, 2009 Officer Jacala arrested a 14 year old female resident of Richmond for her involvement in the crime. On Monday September 28, 2009 Officer Jacala arrested the second culprit in the crime, another 14 year old female resident of Richmond. Both juveniles were released to their parents pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

Baral was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

Rios was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Thursday September 10, 2009 at about 11:26 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a strong arm robbery that just occurred on the BART path south of Potrero Ave. Responding Officers quickly located and arrested a 17 year old male resident of San Pablo and two 16 year old male residents of San Pablo for the crime. Two of the juveniles were released to their parents and one was transported to Juvenile Hall pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.
