On Saturday October 24, 2009 at about 1:28 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a theft that just occurred at Sketchers, at 5805 Cutting Blvd. After an investigation Tony Antoine McDowell, a 20 year old male resident of Pinole, was arrested for theft. McDowell was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Saturday October 24, 2009 at about 10:55 pm Officer Schillinger arrested Kevinisha Lashea Henderson, a 28 year old female resident of Richmond, and Michael Coleman Perkins, a 46 year old male resident of Richmond, after the pair were found in possession of a stolen vehicle during a traffic stop. Henderson and Perkins were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Saturday October 24, 2009 at about 12:30 pm Officer Payne arrested Naomi Naito, a 35 year old female resident of Kensington, after Naito was found in possession of methamphetamine during the investigation of a disturbance in the 700 block of Albemarle Street. Naito was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Saturday October 24, 2009 at about 10:31 am Corporal Wong arrested Corey Lee Foster, a 30 year old male resident of San Jose, after Foster was found in possession of methamphetamine during a traffic stop. Foster was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Friday October 23, 2009 at about 7:54 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to the 1700 block of Elm Street to conduct follow up on a missing person report, made after the woman failed to show up to work. After arriving at the residence Officers discovered the missing person was present, and reported having been abducted and sexually assaulted by a known assailant. The suspect had fled the area. On Saturday October 25, 2009 at about 10:10 pm El Cerrito Police Detectives responded to Sonora, California, where they arrested Rito Eduardo Rodriguez, a 29 year old male resident of El Cerrito, for the crime. Rodriguez was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Wednesday October 21, 2009 at about 12:24 am Officer Guzman arrested Kameron Villyard, a 19 year old male resident of Ogden, Utah, after Villyard was found in possession of illegal weapons during a pedestrian stop. Villyard was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Saturday October 17, 2009 at about 7:29 am Officer Chalk arrested Jose Hernandez Lozano, a 54 year old male resident of Berkeley, after Lozano was found in possession of methamphetamine during a pedestrian stop. Lozano was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Thursday October 15, 2009 at about 2:40 pm Officer Elder arrested a 12 year old male resident of Richmond after the juvenile was found in possession of cocaine at Portola Middle School. The juvenile was released to his parent pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Wednesday August 26, 2009 at about 5:15 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a residential burglary that just occurred in the 7800 block of Eureka Ave. On Tuesday October 20, 2009 at about 8:00 am El Cerrito Police Detectives served a search warrant on a residence in the 1700 block of 16th Street in San Pablo in connection with this investigation and arrested Carla Anne Ingram, a 46 year old female resident of San Pablo, and Demetrius Elijah Trim, a 39 year old male resident of Rodeo, after they were found in possession of stolen mail and personal identifying information belonging to countless individuals. Ingram and Trim were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Saturday October 10, 2009 at about 6:57 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery that just occurred on Blake Street at Lexington Ave. Officers then learned a second robbery had been committed by the same suspects on the BART path at Manila Ave. Responding Officers quickly located and arrested Rhodney Dawaine Henderson Jr, an 18 year old male resident of Richmond, Adan Ambriz, a 21 year old male resident of Richmond, and Francisco Javier Mejia, a 20 year old male resident of Richmond, for the crimes. During the ensuing investigation it was determined the group had also committed a robbery the previous night on San Pablo Ave at Madison Ave. Henderson, Ambriz and Mejia were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Saturday October 10, 2009 at about 3:23 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a theft that just occurred at Safeway, at 10636 San Pablo Ave. After an investigation Ralph Monroe Boggs, a 50 year old male resident of Oakland, was arrested for theft. Boggs was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Saturday October 10, 2009 at about 12:39 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 10200 block of San Pablo Ave. After an investigation Anthony Henry Hampton, a 49 year old male resident of El Cerrito, was arrested for assault. Hampton was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Saturday October 10, 2009 at about 3:12 am Officer Brosas arrested Francisco Javier Rodriguez-Mendoza, a 22 year old male resident of San Pablo, after Rodriguez was found in possession of marijuana for sales during a traffic stop. Rodriguez-Mendoza was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Friday October 9, 2009 at about 11:20 pm Officer Schillinger arrested Isaiah Carl Combs, a 51 year old male resident of Richmond, and Anna Marie Barnes, a 44 year old female resident of Richmond, after Combs and Barnes were found in possession of methamphetamine and heroin during a suspicious vehicle investigation. Combs and Barnes were released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Friday October 9, 2009 at about 5:48 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 700 block of Albemarle Street. After an investigation Matthew Travis Finch, a 24 year old male resident of El Cerrito, was arrested for elder abuse and theft. Finch was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Friday October 9, 2009 at about 2:12 am El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of an interrupted automobile burglary in the 5500 block of Macdonald Ave. Responding Officers quickly located and arrested Aaron Spencer, a 49 year old male resident of Richmond, for the crime. Spencer was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Wednesday October 7, 2009 at about 10:52 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 3400 block of Yosemite Ave. After an investigation Sheng Yuan, a 32 year old male resident of El Cerrito, was arrested for assault. Yuan was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Monday October 5, 2009 at about 3:22 am Officer Thepkaysone arrested Jon Earl Ware, a 43 year old male resident of El Sobrante, after Ware was found in possession of methamphetamine during a traffic stop. On Sunday October 4, 2009 at about 2:51 pm El Cerrito Police Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at Walgreen’s, at 11565 San Pablo Ave. After an investigation Michael Aaron Cooper, a 44 year old male resident of Lodi, was arrested for assault and making illegal threats. Cooper was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

On Sunday October 4, 2009 at about 4:48 am Officer Brosas arrested Salvador Rodriquez, a 21 year old male resident of Richmond, and Manuel Ortega, a 19 year old male resident of Richmond, after Rodriquez and Ortega were seen walking away from a parked vehicle and found in possession of property just stolen from the car. Rodriquez and Ortega were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.

After an investigation Colman Martinez Jimenez, a 37 year old male resident of Richmond, was arrested for brandishing a simulated firearm. Jimenez was released pending the filing of charges by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office.
