04-8247 211 PC (Armed) – May 6th (V) was approached by a 16-18 year old black male, wearing a blue and white striped shirt with lettering, and black pants. The black male produced a small caliber semi automatic handgun and demanded (V)’s wallet. The suspect fled north on Richmond St. The report was delayed as (V) walked from Eureka @ Richmond St. where the crime occurred to the Plaza BART station to call the police.

04-08503/ 207(a) PC, 215 PC (2 counts), 664-215 PC (2 counts), 236 PC, 23152(a) VC, 20002(a) VC & 11550(a) H&S: Off Albrandt rpts that Yolanda Bryant attempted to car jack a vehicle ifo Marshall’s. When the first carjacking failed, she succeeded in carjacking a second nearby vehicle. When she was fleeing in this vehicle, she crashed it into several poles and a tree at Portola Ave. and San Pablo Avenue. This collision totaled the car. She attempted another carjacking, but the (V) fled the scene. She then jumped into a security vehicle and attempted to carjack it, without result. She attempted another carjacking but failed. She ran southbound on San Pablo Ave. and attempted to carjack an unk red vehicle, which she left or was forced out of via unknown means. She continued to Moeser and SPA where she succeeded in carjacking a Cadillac and its’ driver. She forced the driver onto Carlson Boulevard towards Cutting Boulevard. ECPD units stopped the Cadillac at the liquor store on Carlson and So. 47th. (S) Bryant was arrested w/o incident. Bryant was booked for all of the above and was transported to MDF. 04-8308 459 PC 800 block of Shevlin Dr: Officer Doty reports that in between May 5th at 2200 hours and May 6th at 2200 hours, S-Unknown entered a garage and took a court and personnel papers from Clarella Godec’s garage.

04-8496 459 PC (Residential) 6300 block of Lagunitas Ave. Officer Stanich reports that in between 1430 hours and 1530 hours, S-Unknown climbed through a ladder into the upstairs window and ransacked the upstairs bedroom.

04-08326/ 459 PC: Off. Wong rpts that unk (S) enters residence via open window. The (S) completely ransacked the house and took (V)’s property. The (S) defecated on the side of the (V)’s residence. A tenant in the lower part of the residence noticed the burglary, but failed to call the police and could only say that the suspect was wearing coat and gray jeans. LOC: 6700 block of Cutting Blvd. TOC: 05-07-04 at 1300 hours.

459 PC (Auto): (04-08577) 900 block of Avis Drive, 5/11 1810-2000 hours: Suspect(s) smash right front passenger window of 1998 Toyota Van, enter and remove purse from interior (Molica) 04-8273 459 PC (Auto) 8300 block of Terrace Dr.: Officer Doty reports that in between May 6th at 2230 hours and May 7th at 0730 hours, S-Unknown threw a brick into through a rear window of a vehicle, ransacked the interior and stole a newspaper. 04-8276 459 PC (Auto) 600 block of Elm Street: Officer Doty reports that in between May 6th at 2300 hours on May 7th at 0700 hours, S-Unknown broke the right rear window of a vehicle and stole a remote control car and compact discs. 04-8291 459 PC (Auto) 700 block of Pomona Ave: Officer Doty reports that in between 2100 hours on May 6th and 0800 hours on May 7th, S-Unknown threw a large rock through the window of a vehicle and ransacked the interior of a vehicle. There was no loss.

04-8185 10851 V.C. – 1130 King Drive – Officer Tam reports that unknown (S) stole (V)’s yellow 1986 Toyota ½ ton P/U (5H95358) from the street sometime between 5/5/04 2100 & 5/6/04 0600.

04-8272 10851a VC 7300 block of Eureka Ave: Officer Doty reports the theft of a red 1998 Toyota SR5 pick up truck 5-R-6-6-5-2-3 in between 2130 hours on May 6th and 0700 hours on May 7th.

04-8281 10851a VC 1400 block of Everett St: Detective Keith reports the theft of a blue, 1987 Nissan Sentra two door 4-L-I-N-5-9-5 in between 0830 hours and 1020 hours on May 7th.

04-8367 10851a VC 700 block of Kearney Street: Corporal Garman reports the theft of a black 1988 Ford Aerostar van 5-D-H-X-6-7-8 in between 1700 hours on May 7th and 1140 hours on May 8th.

04-8444 10851a VC 1500 block of Norvell Street: Officer Hoffman reports the theft of a green 1991 Honda Civic 2 door 2-X-K-V-5-9-9 in between 1800 hours on April 8th and 0600 hours on April 9th. 04-8367 10851a VC (Recovery) 1916 Junction Ave: Officer Doty recovered a 1988 Ford Aerostar van reported stolen to the El Cerrito Police Department on May 8th, 2004. It was released to the owner.

04-08410/ Out Recovered/ Off. Albrandt recovered an RPD stolen (Toyota Camry Ca# 4LHG664) ifo1251 Navellier Street. The vehicle was returned to its’ owners. TOR: 05-09-04 at 1251 hours.
