211 PC (Robbery)

None.


459 PC (Burglary/Residential)

07-6336 459 PC (attempt) 1900 block of Junction Ave. 4-5-07 1920 to 1930 hours. Unknown suspects force open rear screen and window on the rear of the home. An alarm sounded and the suspects fled.

07-6457 459 PC (Attempt) 7200 block of Mound 4-7-07 0920 hours. A resident called to report a suspicious person knocking on the door. The suspect then went tot eh rear yard and took a screen off and opened a window setting off an alarm. The suspect fled the area on foot. The suspect was described as a black male juvenile 15 to 16 years old, wearing a black jacket and pants. The victim waited several hours to report the incident.


459 PC (Burglary/Commercial)

07-6628 459 PC Little Ceasar’s Pizza. 11299 San Pablo Ave 4-9-07 0220 hours. An unknown suspect tried to pry open the rear door of the Pizza Store, setting off the alarm. The suspects fled.


459 PC (Burglary/Auto)

07-6146 459 PC 7100 block of Manila Ave 4-3-07 0730 hours. An unknown suspect entered a vehicle by unknown means and removed cash and CD’s.

07-6571 459 PC 2000 block of Tapscott Ave 4-9-07 0640 hours. An unknown suspect smashed a pick up truck window and ransacked the interior of the truck. A neighbor saw a white truck leaving the scene.

07-6596 459 PC 2000 block of Harper St. 4-8-07 2000 to 4-9-1200 hours. An unknown suspect entered a 1993 Honda Civic. No known loss.


10851 CVC: (Motor Vehicle Theft)

07-6378 10851 VC 7300 block of Stockton Ave. 4-4-07 1800 to 4-5-07 1900 hours. An unknown suspect stole a 1987 Nissan Pathfinder and left the car in the roadway on Ashbury Ave. The vehicle was towed and later reported stolen by the owner.

07-6460 10851 VC (RECOVERY) 2200 block of Key Blvd. 4-7-07 An officer received notification of a Lo-Jack equipped vehicle in the area. The officer followed the signal and located the car parked abandoned but still warm. This represents El Cerrito’s first stolen vehicle recovery due to the Lo-Jack System.

07-6551 10851 VC 800 block of Contra Costa Ave. 4-6-07 1900 to 4-8-07 2320 hours. An unknown suspect stole a 1998 Honda Civic. The car was recovered in Richmond prior to the report of the theft.

07-6578 10851 VC 2000 block of Key Blvd. 4-9-07 0100 to 0900 hours. An unknown suspect stole a 1998 Nissan Maxima.
