    In Memory of Bruce King

Bruce King, the City’s Maintenance/Engineering Services Manager, tragically passed away on Friday, April 17th, 2009. He worked for the City of El Cerrito for over 14 years in the Public Works Department and will be missed by everyone.

As part of the Earth Day Proclamation (PDF, 309Kb), the El Cerrito City Council dedicated April 25, 2009 in Bruce's memory and planted a tree in his honor. The tree is located in the Ashbury Avenue median (near Lynn–-a few blocks from Harding School).
