Please read the information below carefully before using the online registration option.
The El Cerrito Recreation Department is utilizing Online Registration this year to add a conveinient option to you for registering your child for summer camp. Because our registration system is hosted by a third party, Active.com, there is an additional fee that you must pay beyond the standard camp fees. If you do not want to pay this fee, please refer to the Summer Camp Brochure for drop-off, mail, and FAX registration options. In addition to registering online and paying for camp, you must fill out all Summer Camp Forms and submint them to the Community Center as soon as possible. You cannot drop off your child at one the camps unless their paperwork is on file.
You must pay in full for camps when using online registraion, our online registration system does not have a deposit function.
Our online registration provider, Active.com, charges a non-refundable, conveinience fee for all transactions. Even if a camp is cancelled or your child is ill and does not attend, etc. we cannot refund this fee.
Discounts, such as the 10% reduction in fees for 10 weeks of summer or the all day Sports Camp Option, are not applied through online registration. If you use online registration and are entitled to a discount, please notify us in writing and a credit will be made to your account or you will be issued a refund. This process may take up to a month because we must first receive the payment from Active.com before we can process the adjustment.
