The mission of Community/Adult Programs is to provide quality facilities and programs to the community offering social, physical and educational opportunities for personal enrichment through recreation and leisure activities.
The Recreation Department offers many exciting activities including: pottery, painting, Sewing, Ikebana, Naginata, Aikido, Shoalin Wu Shu, Yoga, Feldenkrais, Parenting Workshops, Polynesian dance and much more. The instructor demonstrates the art of creating seasonal floral arangments and asists students with their projects. Please bring the following to the first class: scissors, pin frog, (needlepoint floral holder), and a shallow container. bring your favorite flowers to each class.

Chris’s Clay Workshop

This on-going workshop/class is open to all interested people. Chris encourages all levels of experience from beginners through intermediate skills. Class setting is laid back workshop with help and guidance available. No assignments are given, rather experiencing and discovering ones own direction with clay as a versatile material.
