WAITING LIST INFORMATION: To put your child's name on the Waiting List you need to complete the following:

1. School-Age Childcare Waiting List form
2. Bring Proof of Residency (El Cerrito Residents Only)
3. Madera School has a $55.00 Non-Refundable Registration Fee/Per Child
4. Due to the Century 21 Grant and Prop 49, Fairmont, Castro and Harding schools have a $25.00 Non-refundable Registration Fee/Per Child

WAITING LIST FORM: This form, which is obtainable at the El Cerrito Community Center or on our website, must be completed in full. Please read the form carefully, no spaces should be left blank. Incomplete forms will be returned to you to be completed. You will be put on the list when your returned forms are completed, not when they were originally received incompleted.

PROOF OF EL CERRITO RESIDENCY: ( for El Cerrito Residents only): You must attach a copy of a current utility bill (water, phone, PG&E, etc.) with your name and address printed on it. We are sorry that we can not accept Driver Licenses as proof of El Cerrito residency.

WAITING LIST NON-REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION FEE: A non-refundable Registration Fee per child is required to complete the Waiting List process. Please refer to specific school fees.

You must re-enroll on the waiting list for each new school year. Our waiting lists do not roll over from year to year. If you are currently enrolled in our childcare programs please do not fill out the waitlist form and wait for your re-registration letter.

REGISTRATION PRIORITY: *note: El Cerrito residents receive one month priority Waiting List enrollment before Open enrollment begins*

**Five day a week service needs receives priority.**
1. First priority for fall childcare spaces is given to the children who are currently enrolled in the program.
2. Second priority goes to siblings, whose names are on the waiting list, of the children currently enrolled in the program.
3. Kindergarten children who’s names are on our waiting list are given next priority until the kindergarten portion of the program is full.
4. Remaining spaces are given to those on our waiting list. Waiting list forms are taken on a first come, first serve basis. A one month priority (month of February) enrollment is given to El Cerrito residents.

CHANGE OF ADDRESS/PHONE NUMBERS: It is your responsibility to notify the program registrar at the Community Center if your address or home/work phone number changes. If a space becomes available we will not be able to contact you if your address/phone numbers are incorrect. If we try to contact you and your address/phone numbers are incorrect your space and registration fee will be forfeited.
