The pre-application for the project proposes a hotel with 84 guestrooms; and a mixed-use building with 20 residential units, 4,839 square feet of office space, and 1,005 square feet of retail space. No formal planning application has been submitted at this time. Project details may be slightly altered prior to submittal of the application.
On December 4, 2019, the Design Review Board and Planning Commission held a joint study session to provide the applicant feedback on the pre-application. City staff anticipates that this project will be subject to Tier IV Design Review pursuant to the San Pablo Avenue Specific Plan. This means that once a formal application is submitted, it will require action by the Planning Commission and Design Review Board.
