The El Cerrito Fire Department has developed a check list to provide guidance on fire hazard vegetation reduction for residences.  It is the property owners responsibility to maintain their properties within the City's Vegetation Management Standards.  Click on the link below to print the check list and survey your own property to ensure you are in compliance.  Maintaining your own property increases your neighborhood's chance of surviving a conflagration and reduces the chance of fire spreading.
