The El Cerrito Police Department offers a number of opportunities for you to get involved.

You can have a front seat for behind the scenes operations of law enforcement; everything from crime scene investigation, traffic control, disaster preparedness, citizen interaction, and interaction with the citizens of our City.

We are currently recruiting a wide range of volunteers such as retirees, active community members, employed citizens, students, and academy graduates. We recruit people at all levels of income, ethnic and cultural diversity, and differing backgrounds. Our volunteers are important to us and the community.
